現在でも、建築史の講義の参考書として日本建築学会編の建築史図集が大いに利用されている。この「建築史参考図書」は、その元になった出版物で、西洋建築史参考図書上・下（昭和6年）、東洋建築史参考図書（昭和11年）、日本建築史参考図書（1932年）の4冊が含まれている。ちなみに、西洋と東洋編は共に初版、日本は改訂4版が収録されている。日本の初版は昭和5年に発行された。時代区分や収録されている建物など、現在のものと比べると、その時代性が窺える。ちなみに、近代は日本建築史参考図集には収録されてはいない。

Reference Drawings for Architectural History (Japanese, Eastern, and Western)
The books of drawings for architectural history compiled by AIJ, which up until now have been extensively used as references for lectures on architectural history, are based on this Reference Drawings for Architectural History. It comprises four volumes: Parts I and II of Reference Drawings for Western Architectural History (1931), Reference Drawings for Eastern Architectural History (1936), and Reference Drawings for Japanese Architectural History (1932). The first editions of Eastern and Western volumes and the fourth edition of the Japanese volume are included in the Archives. The first edition of the Japanese volume was published in 1930. The period divisions and selected buildings characterize the time of publication. The Japanese volume does not include modern structures.
