The benchmark problems of acoustical parameters are released to check own programs and your attitude to calculate acoustical parameters.
This project has been organized by the working group on analysis of acoustical parameters on the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ).
If you have questions regarding the project or this web site, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The acoustical parameters are measured in a room for obtaining its quantitative acoustic characteristics.
The calculation techniques for acoustical parameters are described in ISO3382-1 standard.
However, the values of the acoustical parameters often include some errors, which are due to a variety of measurement conditions and loosely defined calculation procedures.
The working group on AIJ is organized to set benchmark problems for calculating and evaluating acoustic parameters derived from room impulse responses, with the ultimate aim of reducing the errors in calculation.
