Benchmark Problem C0-2F -Properties-
Geometry: Cubic cavity (1 m * 1 m * 1 m) with a thin plate (1 m*1 m) located on the surface z = -0.25. Boundary condition: Boundary condition of the plate is simply supported edge. All surfaces inside the cubic cavity are rigid boundaries. A point source (S) is located at (0.5, -0.5, -0.4), assuming its stationary vibration with volume acceleration amplitude 1.0 m3/s2. Physical properties of the plate: Thickness : 0.01 m Youngfs modulus : 7.5*1010 N/m2 Poissonfs ratio : 0.22 Density : 2500 kg/m3 Loss factor : 0.002 |

-Task A- Distribution: Sound pressure amplitude [Pa] at 101 points (R1), on the line x = 0.5, located at 0.01 m intervals (y = -0.5, ..., 0.5). At the octave-band mid-frequencies (f = 31.5, 63, 125, 250, 500, 1k, 2k, 4k Hz). Dataform: d-c0-0fa.xls -Task B- Frequency response: Sound pressure amplitude [Pa] at 3 points (0.5, 0.5, -0.5) (R2), (0, 0.5, 0) (R3) and (0.4, 0.3, 0.2) (R4). At the frequencies with 1 Hz intervals from 20 Hz to 4 kHz, or with 10 Hz intervals from 20 Hz to 4 kHz. |
