-Regulations for calculation-
General:
  • Time factor: exp (+j * omega * time)

  • Air condition: sound speed 343.7 m/s, air density 1.205 kg/m3, temperature 20 deg C.

  • Frequency-domain analysis:
  • A stationary state with frequency f (angular frequency omega) is considered.
  • The frequencies for calculation are specified on each problem page.
  • The highest frequency is fixed at 4 kHz for all problems, however, contributions may include lack of data.

  • Time-domain analysis:
  • The impulse response and the similars with filtered pulses are regarded as the output.
  • Each discrete-time sampled value corresponds to the integrated value }0.5 time samples of the continuous-time signal.
  • If a filtered pulse is used for the source, the source signal must be supplied as complementary information.
  • The sampling frequency is fixed at 8 kHz for all problems.

    -Arrangements for contribution-
The items to be filled in the contribution are as follows:
  • Method : name, brief explanation.
  • Programming : language, libraries.
  • Subsidiary software : mesh generator etc.
  • Machine specifications : type, CPU performance.
  • Computed result : specific data for each benchmark problem.
  • Computing performance : processing time, used memory.
  • Comment : special mention etc.
  • References : literatures, web sites.
  • Contributor : name, affiliation, e-mail address.

  •
Prescribed submission forms including the above items are put on each problem page, and are downloadable as a electrical file with Microsoft Excel Format.
